Contents are anything that is not attached to the building like furnishings, weights, retail inventory, computer equipment, etc. Think for example if you could pick up the location, turn it upside down, and shake it that what falls out is contents. Please note that if your lease requires you to be responsible for the HVAC or glass you need to include that.
Up-fit refers to anything attached to the space. Some examples are specialty flooring, hanging bars, partitions, or walls you add. If the landlord requests it, this includes anything from the walls in. Ask your landlord what portion of the space you are responsible to re-build in the event of a loss if you aren't sure.

Special Note: If you get any special insurance requests from your state, please send them to us. In some states, for example, if you collect annual pre-payments, you must be bonded. In Florida, you must register your business and all owners to be exempt from workers comp coverage.
