Welcome to My Funeral

Welcome to my funeral…

I’m no longer here with my family and friends. I’ve gone Home. I’ve lived an amazing life. Lots of adventures, ups and downs, but a life worth living. I would do it again if given the chance. But there is not another chance. I gave of my time, talent and treasure. I loved on people. I was loved by people – especially my family and friends. I was proactive in planning for this time so when it DID happen my loved ones would be taken care of financially. Boy, am I glad I took a few precious minutes to prepare and put plans in place to protect those I love the most! I love you family. You will be OK.

Those would be a few of the words I would write. You may have many different emotions while reading this. In a good way, I hope you do. I did as I was writing this and listening to this song by Lukas Graham. I also hope you will listen to it…maybe a few times, because to me it speaks volumes about living life to its fullest and loving those around you.

While listening to this song I think about the end of life and how my family will survive financially. Did I prepare? Does my spouse have to get a 2nd job? Can the kids afford to go to college? Do I have an updated Will and Powers’ of Attorney? So many questions that MUST be answered. If you are taking the time to read this I know I am hitting this hard. We have all lost someone dear to us, maybe even very recently. It’s tough, it hurts, it’s real. I’m sad for you if you have.

The real question here is Are You Prepared Financially for When You are Called Home? September is always Life Insurance Awareness Month. Friends, please share some time with me and my team. Let’s do a review of your current situation. Let’s put plans in place or simply verify that what you have is good for your family! It takes just a few minutes. Life can and does change in a split second. I’m asking you as your agent, but more importantly as your friend, to be prepared. I don’t want to receive that phone call from a survivor that says, “Please tell me my spouse had life insurance in force.” That time will come and I do not want to say, “I’m sorry, there is no life insurance in place.”

Let’s celebrate life and do the responsible thing and protect our loved ones. We’re Always Right Here Beside You so just give us a ring…

Stay protected,
Trey Siner

Erie Homeowner’s Insurance Inspection

Just an FYI that some of our Erie customers will be selected for a homeowner’s insurance inspection. An inspector will come to your property and take photos and notes regarding your property and home exterior. They will identify themselves and will not need to come inside.
Insurance inspections are beneficial because they can help identify potential risks that could cause safety issues or losses, so that you can address them and avoid claims. An inspection can also help make sure that the insured dwelling value is not too high or too low.

Auto Safety Features: The Good. The Helpful. The Annoying?

If you have purchased a car in the last four years, you’ve probably noticed several new features designed to help protect you on the roadway. And thanks to that advanced engineering and technology, today’s cars are safer than ever.

However, a national survey by Erie Insurance found that not everyone is taking advantage of these new safety features.

What Is a Guaranteed Insurability Option and Why Do You Need One?

When you’re young, life insurance is probably the last thing you think you need. Life insurance isn’t an easy topic to talk about. Let’s face it – no one wants to think about death. Or we think about it too late, when insurance may not be attainable (and definitely less affordable).

That’s why it’s important to get life insurance when you’re young. You’re most likely healthier, so a life policy is more affordable.

It’s also the perfect time to add a Guaranteed Insurability Option (GIO) rider.

We’re Right Here Beside You When…

Verse of the Month
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
