What is your mindset today? Are you hopeful and full of energy ready to take on the day? Or are you feeling a bit more like a flat tire..blump, blump, blump as you go through each day? If you are anything like me I experience both. I had one of those “flat tire” type of days this week. A normal day working from home but seemed like I kept bumping up against a wall from early morning through 9pm…a long day. But I ended up being refreshed towards the end of that day. Why you ask? I changed my mindset.
I got up and walked outside (one of my favorite things), I raised myself up and started looking at the situations of that day from a different perspective. I talked to my wife who is my best friend and confidant who always offers support and a different view. I asked myself what can I control? If I watch another minute of the news will it offer a positive influence on my life? By the way the answer to that is NO! We must remember to remove ourselves from negative situations or people and gain a new and refreshed perspective. Maybe the Bible offers you that new view or your best friend or spouse, maybe a motivating podcast. Possibly it’s cranking up a album you love (for me it’s Kenny Chesney – his music speaks to my soul and I’m listening to it as I write this). Whatever it is for you I encourage you to reach out and grab it. Improve your mindset not only during this ongoing pandemic but for life. You’ll be much happier I promise!
I believe this is a perfect time to improve. Adversity creates opportunity! Improve our relationships, the words we say, the thoughts we have, the way we treat each other. But in order to improve anything we control we must first improve our mindset. Is the glass half full or half empty for you? I choose half full and even on those days which seem the tide is pulling away from me I choose to step away, reevaluate and change my mindset to focus on the good things. I hope you will join me!
We’re Right Here Beside You in this journey and beyond. Please reach out if we can ever be of assistance. We love serving you!

“I appreciate ALL the answered questions, and additional info that other agents never mention. He was humble and kind. No “used car salesman!” 😉 Thank God. Willing to talk specifics line by line. Went the extra mile, but was not pushy or overbearing AT ALL. I appreciate agent truly understanding living the “Dave Ramsey way.“ We saved a ton of money and have better coverage!” Jennifer C.
How do we help others during the COVID-19 pandemic? There are many ways to serve others during this time. Giving of our time, treasure or talent. Any of these are always welcome! I have found when you are feeling down and the pressures of life are tapping your shoulder you can change your mindset and decide to help others. This has been studied and proven that when we help others and take the focus off of ourselves and focus on those with a bigger need it lifts our spirits too. It’s weird but true. So get out there and help others! It’s a critical time in our lives right now.
#Erieagentsgivingback is a hashtag created for all Erie Agents across the Erie footprint of 12 states and DC to share in their ways of giving back $2.2 million to our local communities! What a blessing for Erie to share in that capacity as we all find new ways to stay in business, stay employed and serve one another. I chose to share the gift with one of our local food banks CCM – Cooperative Christian Ministry led by Ed Hosack Executive Director. https://cooperativeministry.com/
This ministry started in 1981 with several churches coming together to solve a community need which was focused on serving those without food. Today they have evolved into serving those in our community who are experiencing crisis in areas of food, housing, finances and program services. The beauty is this is not a hand out..its a hand up because their services empower those in need to move beyond the crisis, not to keep them in crisis.
I love helping those who want to help themselves. Over the past years they have helped over 40,000 people get back on their feet and be contributors to society. Well done CCM! I’m proud we have been able to offer a donation to help your mission of helping others get back on their feet!

No Needles for Life Insurance + Auto/Home Discounts!!
I hope you are doing well and staying safe. As your trusted insurance advisor I wanted to advise you that recently we’ve had many inquiries about life insurance and planning for the future.
Erie is offering a temporary waiver of the paramed life exam for existing Erie customers applying for $500,000 or less. You must be age 55 or under to qualify. If you currently have a life policy with Erie, the maximum you can apply for is a total of 500K without an exam.
Now is the time to take advantage of this offer and avoid the exam requirements due to the possibility of Coronavirus exposure.
It only requires an application and answering the medical questions. Erie will order any medical records, if needed and pull their online reports. No money is due until the life policy is approved and you accept. Plus you will get additional discounts on your home and auto policies! I’m not sure how long this offer will last, so I highly recommend we do it NOW.
Call our office at 704-795-6878 or email email@example.com to discuss the details. We can take care of you over the phone.
Remember We’re Right Here Beside You!
Hurricanes can bring heavy rains, high winds and storm surges that cause tides to swell and push water on shore. And big waves can erode natural barriers, leaving coasts more vulnerable to future storms and flooding.
During a hurricane, if the soil can’t absorb rainwater fast enough or storm drains can’t handle the runoff, rain can lead to flash floods.
Most homeowners and renters insurance policies do not cover flood damage, and flood insurance policies don’t automatically renew. While an inch of water in your home might not seem like a lot, it’s enough to cause over $25,000 worth of damage.
There are a variety of hidden risks that can put your house in danger of flooding, like new housing developments or changes in weather patterns. Flood insurance is a surefire way to protect your home, even when it doesn’t face the obvious risks for flooding.
With flood insurance, you’ll have one less thing to worry about when a flood damages your home or belongings. And while the process of recovering may seem daunting, flood insurance makes it possible.
Flood insurance policies typically take 30 days to go into effect, so don’t wait. Contact us today!
PhishLabs has observed multiple threat campaigns using coronavirus to lure victims. Check out the examples in the article linked to below that illustrate common ways threat actors are exploiting the pandemic.
