How about a Refresh?

We moved into our new, 1980’s office building back in 2008 after spending a few years working from home and our first location on 60 Union Street South. I leased the space for a few years and then had the opportunity to purchase it. When we first moved in, my focus was to get to work…nothing else! Other than a few little updates over the years, we have “lived” with the building as-is which has been adequate and professional.

While we are out for COVID-19, I thought what a perfect time to do a little refresh to the cosmetics of the space. I like bright spaces and we had darker colors in the office along with “popcorn” ceilings. One thing I learned is when a contractor sprays the popcorn, they are often covering up MANY mistakes! We have found several, that once repaired, will make the new, lighter color ceiling pop with style. Along with an update to the ceiling, we will be painting the walls, replacing some sinks, counter-tops and doors. I think my team will really like the new look once it is complete! Feel free to follow along with some updates on our corporate facebook page!

This reminds me that maybe we all would love a refresh of 2020! Boy, I would love to start over! I was expecting more growth, happiness, freedoms and more! But I do know this…God does not put more on us than we can handle with His help. The grace of God, through Jesus Christ, enables us to to carry the different challenges we all face. We were designed wonderfully and perfectly. Like a building or bridge that is designed to withstand the weight, wind, and pressures put on it, we are designed to withstand the pressures put on us. Let’s build each other up, find the best in one another and serve one another. I believe in us and what God intended for us to do here!

So, let’s have a refresh! When we each do our part to find ways to brighten someone’s day, to reach across the aisle and help someone, to look for ways to encourage and lift up others and heck, maybe even help paint a room for someone…it not only helps them but it also elevates our own mood and increases our joy. I personally have had a few people recently really encourage me and lift me up!  You know who you are!  Thank you!

I look forward to serving you through the rest of 2020! Please stay healthy, safe and secure! We’re Right Here Beside You!

Be well my friends,
Trey

40 Road Trip Games and Activities

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, vacation travel is bound to look different than usual. In the name of social distancing, that may mean trading a crowded airplane cabin for the adventure of a summer road trip. (That’s one more reason to give your auto insurance a checkup, if it’s been a while.)

Of course, the biggest sacrifice in traveling by car is the extra time it takes to arrive at your vacation destination. And everyone who’s been on a road trip knows passing the hours can be a struggle — especially if you have young children. So why not try some fun car games?

To help your family pass the time, here’s our list of 40 road trip games to play in the car. (Get creative… coming up with your own variations can be part of the fun!)

Summer Berry Crisp

Now that summer weather is setting in, strawberries and blueberries are as ripe and sweet as they’ll ever be! What’s better than spending a night with friends and family, whipping up some fresh and healthy berry crisp and sitting outside as the sun slowly goes down? Not much, in my opinion!

We’re Right Here Beside You When…

“It was such a blessing for me to find Jared Nash. I have wanted to change insurance agents/companies for a long time because of the cost and poor customer service. I just dreaded doing it because I thought it would be very complicated and confusing. I decided to try an ELP (Endorsed Local Provider) through the Dave Ramsey website. I was replacing four policies and Jared patiently and kindly walked me through every step of the process. He made it easy and painless. Thanks to Jared it was all completed in a few days with no stress for me. Jared is the epitome of professionalism and best practices for customer service. I plan to tell all my friends and family about Jared and Trey Siner Insurance Group.”

Be Proactive!

We are quickly approaching hurricane season and according to the Hurricane Center, they are calling for an above average season. As we all know, it doesn’t take a named storm to cause flooding, if it rains where you live, it can also flood.

We cannot control the weather but we can certainly be prepared for it.

Did you know?

  • Everyone lives in a flood zone – Floods are caused by storms, hurricanes, water backup due to inadequate or overloaded drainage systems, or even broken water mains.
  • Flood damage is not covered by most homeowners policies – You can protect your home and personal belongings with flood insurance.
  • You can buy flood insurance no matter your flood risk – Nearly 25% of flood insurance claims come from low-to-moderate risk areas. These low risk areas are eligible for the most competitive premiums and offer ample protection.
  • Flood insurance is affordable – The flood insurance market is changing for the better. We have access to a variety of different flood products that we can fit to suit your needs and budget.

Our agency has several options for flood insurance both through the National Flood Insurance Program and private markets that may offer lower premiums and better coverage. We would love to discuss both options with you, so please give us a call so we can provide you with a complimentary risk analysis.

Remember, your homeowners policy does not typically cover flood damage and there may be a waiting period before your flood policy takes effect! Buying flood insurance is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your investment before the next “storm”. We look forward to speaking with you soon!

No Needles for Life Insurance + Auto/Home Discounts!!

In the past few months, we’ve had many inquiries about life insurance and planning for the future.

Erie is offering a temporary waiver of the paramed life exam for existing Erie customers applying for $500,000 or less. You must be age 55 or under to qualify. If you currently have a life policy with Erie, the maximum you can apply for is a total of 500K without an exam.

Now is the time to take advantage of this offer and avoid the exam requirements due to the possibility of Coronavirus exposure.

It only requires an application and answering the medical questions. Erie will order any medical records, if needed and pull their online reports. No money is due until the life policy is approved and you accept. Plus you will get additional discounts on your home and auto policies! I’m not sure how long this offer will last, so I highly recommend we do it NOW.

Call our office at 704-795-6878 or email karie@treysinerinsurance.com to discuss the details. We can take care of you over the phone.

EnRoute, Erie Insurance’s commercial telematics program, makes it easy for business auto insurance customers to share their driving data and thereby potentially lower business auto premiums and reduce driving risk.
