Where did you grow up?
Good Ole Concord
What is a cause/charity/non-profit that you care about and why?
Bill’s Backpack Blessings- it’s a ministry started by my late father-in-law at University Hills Baptist Church. Each week we provide a bag of food to children in two Mecklenburg County Schools who have been identified as homeless. The ministry began by sending these bags to ten children and has increased over the years. We now serve 75 children who could otherwise go hungry on the weekends.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my family. I love raising my two sweet little girls and watching them grow and develop their own unique personalities. Their joy brings me joy!
What is one thing most people don’t know about you? Hidden talent?
I can sing but I doubt you’ll ever hear it though 😊
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
This is marital advice I guess but- never go to sleep angry. I always make sure to apologize before going to bed. It allows you to start the next day with forgiveness and not holding onto anger from something in the past.
What is your favorite part about working at Trey Siner Insurance Group?
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their stories and experience- some good and some bad. It allows me to learn about my clients and create relationships with them. I love when I’m speaking with a client and they share with me something totally unrelated to insurance because it allows us to connect on a deeper level than just transactional business.
