Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Concord, NC and except for my college years, I have lived here my whole life. I love this area!
What is a cause/charity/non-profit that you care about and why?
My mom suffered from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I know firsthand that we need a cure and so I give to that cause regularly. I am blessed that my church shares local needs so that I can contribute there as well.
What are you passionate about?
I live for my daughter, Ashleigh, and my dog, Daisy. They make life worth living and I love spending time with them. I am also passionate about my work family. I am blessed to work with some really awesome people and I love them dearly. I am also passionate about my faith – God has been so good to me and I try to spend time with prayer and devotions to center myself with Him.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you? Hidden talent?
I love all crafts – so maybe it is not a hidden talent. I love making beaded bracelets for my friend, scrapbooks for my family, basket weaving (Karie’s mom was my teacher) and card making.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
My first day on the job with my dad at his insurance office he said “Amy – just treat everybody like you want to be treated and you will never have a problem”. He truly lived by the golden rule every day of his life and the example he was for me taught me so much.
What is your favorite part about working at Trey Siner Insurance Group?
I love what I do – helping people understand insurance. I believe all clients should have access to education about coverages and how the insurance applies to their business. That is the best way to make decisions about what you need.
